Bear Creek Fall Family Photo Session Colorado Springs

It was a cold Colorado afternoon, but the sun was shining bright and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. This time of year can be dicey when it comes to weather, so a day like this is all I’m ever hoping for. (Okay I would love for a magical 70° day, but let’s not be rash.)

The family I had the privilege of shooting with was a fellow military family living on the base where I lived for two years. It’s always fun meeting other military families because there’s always something to talk about. :) And in Colorado Springs, it’s hard to avoid other military families.

We started the session right off the bat and these high energy boys were ready to go! Let’s be honest, little boys would

much rather be throwing sticks than posing for family photos. But these little boys gave me a little taste of both. They also quoted one of my favorite childhood movies, Hook, and they were filled with so much energy. And we can’t forget sweet little sister who stayed attached to her Mama for the duration of the session. She was the cutest little cuddle bug!

We had a beautiful session with some beautiful light from above and I am so thankful for my energetic and go-with-the-flow clients. They keep my job fun! :)
