About a month ago our family made the trip to Tampa to see our close friends tie the knot. (I don't have any pictures from the wedding, but it was one of those weddings that you leave feeling so much love for the couple that you lowkey want to third wheel on their honeymoon.) Congratulations Jeff and Katie, we love you!
While we were in Florida we spent lots of time with family and it was truly refreshing. When we are home for Christmas, our time feels very rushed, planned, and spread thin; we hate it. But this trip was relaxed and fun.
Some of the highlights include: strawberry milkshakes at our favorite strawberry field, racing across town to catch a sunset, an art festival, lunch at Little Harbor, and my favorite--Busch Gardens. Living away from family can definitely be challenging, but the time we spend together is always special because it's so rare. The goodbyes at the airport have only gotten harder since adding a new member to our family. But I'm always working on being grateful for our life and the place we've been called to live.
